It's kinda sad... having to go to court every time.
It's even sadder for that daughter, the day she was born her brother died and several months later her mother dies. And she's the subject of a custody battle (between Smith's husband and that guy that claims to be the biological father).

First, Smith didn't have a husband (she was not married to Howard K. Stern) and second, that guy (Larry Birkhead) is most likely the father.
The reason Smith was fighting it is because her companion that idiot Howard K. Stern wanted to ensure that if Smith finally got her millions from her old geezer dead husband he would enjoy the windfall.
If Larry Birkhead, most likely biological father, proved his paternity then SHE would have to pay him child support...
Now Stern will fight tooth and nail to fight off the paternity suit from the biological father so he can champion the cause of the half billion dollar inheritance of Smith's heir...her daughter.
In the end it's sad...but Anna Nicole was an unstable person that surrounded herself by very badly intentioned people. |
